My name is Craig Tussey from Kentucky in the USA. I had gotten your permission to use 2 of your ideas, the 3D Art Gallery and the ‘I think’ svgvml menu in an application I’ve built.
You rewrote the first one not to long ago. I picked up the changes and it works fine.
But The second one quit working recently – something about an invalid argument at line 79 of svgvml.js. I haven’t changed any of the involved code in awhile. It doesn’t look like you’ve updated the code on your site either.
Are there some external dependancies in this? I’m executing in IE7, and the MS stuff gets updated daily, as needed, automatically. I noticed their are some arguments that look like they might be MS unique.
I remember that I had to update my SVG/VML scripts for IE8 but the script should work on IE7 too (as far as I can remember, I cannot test on IE7 anymore). Does the current version of the demo work on dhteumeuleu (this page) ?
If yes, please check that you use the latest version of the svg to vml wrapper.
I saw a script very similar to this about 12 years ago. I got it on builder(dot)com or cnet(dot)com The circles were various colors and the rotation seemed also to use a z-axis… I don’t know if this one does. I lost track of that script and have been searching for it. This is the closest I’ve gotten. The one I’d seen way back then had a more polished look, the circles had smoother edges. The colors may have been configurable… I really don’t remember. Do you remember this script? The movement was just like this one.
Hey!
Great script, your just a genius!
I need your help…
I was wondering if theres a way to hide the dots which are no involved in the path i am chosen, so i can see more clearly that path, i am trying to make a menu with this but its a mess whit all those points and words not involved.
I hope yo can give me a hand, congratulations anyway.
Pd. Sorry for my lame english

Gerard,
Both the application code and the SVGVML library had changed. I installed both and it came right up. Thanks again.

I’m not succeeding in putting a background image under the animated menu. Can someone tell me what I should change/add ?
Check this out. Unbelievable development, but of course it’s Flash.

I wish I could make this “I think” like that one.
Yep, very nice. Thanks for the link. I could do that in js+svg, I think.
