Hi,

I'm not sure I understand here, I guessed wrongly maybe that the code is free, I copied the source code and XML File and edited the addresses for the images and the script doesn't work for me.

so I looked at comments and i began to wonder if its not working or I need to pay somehow?

I'm a novice developer learning all kinds of stuff and having a start project for a client that wants to show his gallery as an artist;

I think this code is excellent to include for him and he would love it which is important for me as a first project,

I'd like to get some help about fixing my problem or to understand if it's not free or i lack some file,

amazing script makes me feel I have to use it,
would appreciate some solution

Thank you in advance.

Yeah... I shall update this script so it uses CSS 2D transforms only, in all browsers. Will do once the W3C spec moves from working draft to candidate rec, one day, maybe. Would drop support for IE8 and bellow though...

I have IE9 and the page jerks and splutters along; very surprising as the pics are only about 100Kb each. IN Firefox they fly along, look really great. I have native XMLHTTP turned on. Is there anything else I can do to make the IE Experience better.

You can try http://www.howfm.com/o3.html in Firefox (fantastic!) and IE (clunky).

Great script by the way!!

Hi there,

First of all: Great work, love your galleries!!!!! not only this one!!
Secondly, I have two question:

1. Is it possible to turn the zoom off? To avoid, that the picture is cut, so that it is always seen completely?

2. Is it possible to stop the automatic scrolling?

Thank you and best regards!!!
Josef

I think there's an omission in your source code?

#imageFlow .arrow-left {
 position: absolute;
	}

needs to have left:0;

I just tried it in IE8/Chrome and without the addition it works but IE7 and FF (3.6.6) seem to need it.

Hope this helps :)

Hi all. wonderful script. I really appreciate that it xml-driven. I have three questions though:

1. Is there a way to stop/start the slide show? And to add manual control buttons?

2. Instead of moving LTR then RTL, would it be an easy change to make the show circular (after seeing the end slide, the script sees slide 1)?

3. Is it hard to add hooks so that, when the front image is clicked, a new javascript is invoked (highslide.js).

4. (Never could count). What constitutes a commercial license. Many sites are made for artists. They are -welll - electronic business cards. They do not sell products. Is that commercial?

Many thanks

David

Any idea why I can't get the inline version to work? I copied everything verbatim and using Dreamweaver CS4.
Thank you.

Hi again :)
My page has performance problems, too. The problem should be in the size of the reflected images created with canvas/DXImageTransform: they're about 600Kb agains 80Kb of the "original" ones.
Is there a way to pass to drawImage a sort of "quality" parameter?
Thank you.
